INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Colts announced Tuesday that they signed fourth-year defensive tackle Adetomiwa Adebawore to a contract extension.
According to ESPN’s Tom Pelissero, the Colts have agreed to terms on a two-year, $35 million extension that includes a $13 million signing bonus.
The 25-year-old and the Colts 2023 fourth-round draft pick is off to the best start of his young career. Adebawore has totaled 19 tackles, four sacks, four tackles for loss, and two passes defensed through the first eight games of the season. He’s played in all eight games this season and started two.
Across his career, Adebawore has registered 67 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and 13 tackles for loss.
